Traditional
In a traditional model, organizations partner with us to layout their technical and business needs and then we develop an integrated system within the organization’s physical site. This is particularly important for organizations and IT professionals who like to be in close proximity to their equipment and resources.
Modern
Over the last five to ten years, many customers have moved “to the cloud”, also known as “infrastructure-as-a-service”. In its simplest form, IaaS means that your storage and compute resources (e.g. servers) are located offsite and accessed remotely. There are many advantages of IaaS, including redundancy, scalability, supporting a remote workforce and co-management (often with a company like CTS).
Hybrid
The most common approach is a hybrid one, in which there are one to two servers on-site, and then the rest of the servers in a managed data center, which allows for both performance (speed) as well as the other IaaS benefits.
